The aim of this course is to provide theoretical and practical knowledge about the European Union (EU)'s external action. As the EU is a key stakeholder of international relations, the understanding of the EU's foreign policy is crucial for students aspiring to work in a global professional landscape. Through a critical analysis of the various dimensions of EU foreign policies, including trade, security and defence, conflict management, development, migration, and neighbourhood policies, this seminar questions the EU's role in international relations. The course format also encourages students to lead and participate in discussions in English.
